Up here in Toronto, every March we have what is called the "ALL ABOUT PETS SHOW" it is in the convention centre out by our airport. We went yesterday and had so much fun. We got so many brochures and pamphlets to read. I ain't gonna have to buy a book for the subway for weeks. The show has some breeders cat, dogs, ferrets, birds, rabbits, etc. Some shelter organizations with pets for adoption. Dog trials and Cat shows. But it is Mosly full of pet products. And WOW, I came home with about a months worth of food just from samples! I saw the newest breed of cat it is called a Brmilla, a cross between a Burman and a Chincilla Persian. They were very beautiful. Just some things I found out that I thought would be of some intrest... St Johns Ambulance is in the testing and certifiation phase of the development of a PET FIRST AID COURSE. And anyone out there looking for insureance, the very company that I use (I think it is wondful) will be expanding south of the border (Cnd and US border that is) in May so they told me to give you all the website and to tell you to check back in May if you can hold on that long. So here it is (I hope I don't get in any trouble for this, but I know some of you were looking for insurance.) www.petcareinsueance.com or their toll free number is 1.877.738.4584. ------------------ Leslie-Ann, Moderator, Cats, Dog Behavior and Breeds, Herbal Remedies, Pet Memorial, and Just for Kids. |

The show was exceptional. It was the first time I had been there. As Mom of 3 said, the amount of samples and literature that was bing handed out was wonderful. We could hardly carry the bags. And for a change, at a show, every booth that gave samples gave bags as well. I came home and dumped them on the floor. Two minues later I had a Jack Russell and a Main Coon trying to find what they could eat first. Abby (dog) found her treats and was quite happy to take the frisbe to her bed end destroy it. Cuddles (cat) of course found a package of organiclay gronw catnip. He couldn't walk straight after that. So you can see not only did we have a good time at the show, the animals had one when we got home.
quote:
Originally posted by mom of three again: Up here in Toronto, every March we have what is called the "ALL ABOUT PETS SHOW" it is in the convention centre out by our airport.
