Default Tails or No Tails

I have a question for those of you who have docked breeds. What do you think of changing the standard to allow for a tail?

Please give me the breed and what you think of them with or without a tail?

It would be fine with all the dogs to leave them undocked.

But it wouldn't happen!

You'd be surprised at what has happened since we posted this. The rottweiler club has sent out a ballot to all members asking that the breed remain docked.

The State of NY has proposed a ban on docking and cropping which would I think be an injustice and is politically motivated.

What do you think?

Luckily it did not go far,Just a bunch of smack from a few people.
Why breeds who are docked and croped, can not just share with the ones who arn't is a mystery. They are the same breed.
Just some people are just more opened minded and not stuck in the stone age as others are.

I believe the American Rottweiler Club wishes to preserve the Rottweiler as a docked breed.

I appreciate the judges who have stood up to honor our breed standard and the wishes of ARC by refusing to judge undocked specimens.

I realize there are differing opinions on this topic, however, I fervently hope that the Rottweiler will remain a docked breed in the US.
