Hello everybody. I am looking for a good spawning plant for my pearl gouramis. I know that Riccia is considered to be the best, but I don't like the way it gets stuck among my other plants - the tank looks messy. Any other suggestions? I thought of letting my Fontinalis float.

You may want to try to attach some java moss to pieces of cork or styrofoam and float those in your tank.

You might want to give Ceratopterus (water sprite), Limnobium (frogbit) or Ceratophyllum (hornwort) some consideration. Any of these will do as a spawning site for your gouramis.
