Default Re: Lamprologus bricardi

Hi!
I just bought a "pair" of bricardi,about 6cm,
and I would like info on them since I can't seem to find much about them on the Internet.
They are housed in a 100liter aquarium,well planted,with lots of hiding places,and WELL equiped,with 4 convicts(2 black,2 white).
The convicts are about 6-7 cm.They seem to be doing fine,a few skirmishes but nothing serious. The bricardis seem to be able to hold their own!
I would like to know about sexing and breeding or anything about them.
Thanks.

Mixing the Brichardis (African cichlids) with your Convicts (South American cichlids) is not exactly the best choice as they desire entirely different water conditions, but I did find this history of the Neolamprologus brichardi at: http://www.petsforum.com/cichlidroom/articles/a035.html

In fact I bookmarked it as the Brichardi is our absolute favorite among the African Rift Lakes fishes.
