Would it be ok to mix Pseudo. Polit with Pseudo. Flavus and a fairly new Pseudo in a 65G tank that would have alot of rockwork. The new is called Pseudo. Metriaclima Fainziberi Red Dorsal. I call it Fainzi for short! LOL Here is the site I found it on. Third fish top row! http://www.algonet.se/~cichlids/in_stock5_1.html |

I presently have 10 1" Flavus with 10 1" Demasoni and I don't plan to keep them integrated indefinately. It is really hard to say how well they'll do together. All you can really do to limit it is all the standard mbuna stocking tricks (overstocking, cover etc). Mbuna can mix pretty well as in general as long as the densities are high, which is a tradeoff of more maintenance and filtration, you are always better off segregating them especially to deal with potential disease outbreaks and/or adverse conditions you may encounter (or the less likely cross breeding potential). As a rule of thumb less densely stocked tanks do better in times of hardship. ------------------ Joe Hackman Moderator - Freshwater Fish Forum My Tropical Fish Page |
