| Hey all I am writing to see if anyone can help me out.. I was given a snake from a friend well it is eating fine and all but it wants to eat all the time the friend who gave it to me was in the hospital for like 1 month and it only went tot he bathroom once since i had her. is it normal for her to try and eat every three days or so? please help any suggestions will be greatly appreciated |

| Hello Well you must be a very good friend , and I hope your friend is OK ! Normally a snake eats about once a week , and they can go much longer. But as a rule of thumb once a week is good. Also make sure that the snake has a heating pad on the bottom of the tank that stays on 24/7. And make sure there is a light that stays on at least 12 hours a day(hopefully a full spectrum). | hello yes it does have a heating source under the tank that stays on 24/7 but he/she is eating alot i try to go every week to too but it seems it wants more than that.. also how can i tell if its a male or female. |
