Hellow, I'm new to the hobby, a year or so, but I got in heavy and fast. But now I need help. One of my cichlids, Kenyi(I think), had fry(20-30)and I need to know how long should I keep momma with them before I return her to my main tank. I have them in a isolation tank now and they have been out of heer mouth for about 3 days now, Cool Really did not know anything before I bought a 45 gal tank from a friend that was moving, now I have another 45gal and 2 10gal, one being a saltwater tank. I'm trying to learn more about about my african cichlids, and in the coruse I found this website and was reading some of the questions, but the answers that was given is what made me join this forum. I know I will learn from the members. Thanks, CORN |

Momma can be removed once she releases the fry. By then, they will be free-swimming and eating on their own. Frank M. Greco Professional Aquarist http://www.franksaquarium.com The Freshwater Shrimp Farm |
