How often do you change your water?

what percentage or gallons do you change, out of what size tank?

I change 40-50% of the water each week in my 5x2x2 and 4x18x18 tanks.They are Lake Tanganyika set ups.

I do between a 20% and 30% water change each week...I have about 15 fish in a 46 gallon tank so I like to do extra water changes.

20-30% weekly in the 100g.

I shoot for 30% every week but usually end up doing 2 or 3 chages per month in my 55gal.

I do a 10% water change on my 48x18x18 75Gal every week along with a gravel clean.

2.5-3 gallons every 10 days on my 10 gallon, 9-12 on 29 gallon. And if i ever decide what size to get next, probably 1/4-1/3 (30 or 40 hopefully)

25% weekly in all four of my tanks, and then on the last day of each month a complete clean under all decor, and filter maintainance at that time as well.

I have 11 tanks- totaling 970 gallons- weekly changes in normal parameters are 50-40 percent depending on size of tank- or if I am medicating at the time.

15% every other day, but this is only because I have extremely high levels of ammonia in my tank right now. Once settled I will probably do a 15-20% change weekly.

25-30% on my 55 gallon mbuna - tang tank per week.

I fluctuate between 25%-30% weekly or every other week. I have 2 29 gallon tanks and a 200 show tank, all housing species from Lake Malawi and Victoria.

very big setup- but i religiously do 40-to 50 percent changes weekly. Because I breed the fish, and they are routinely over crowded. I have been changing my 110 and 180 daily-20 percent gravel cleanings for about a week now plus vitaminized food to combat hlle I picked up from a messy retailer-(no names needed). I have found that as long as you have good filtration-even exceeding your tank size requirements-you can do as many minor water changes as needed and keep the gravel clean. The gravel itself is what i have found to be the biggest problem in battling parasites.

30% weekly in 140 gallon tank.

10 gallons per week during gravel change in my 30 gallon.
