We have been running an adoption program for a couple of years for the homeless and abandoned kittens and cats that somehow manage to reach our doorsteps. Just thought this might be an opportunity to say thank you to those very special people out there who work so very hard to care for, feed & also spend their own hard earned money to spay, neuter, vaccinate & rescue babies. Sometimes it may seem like a thankless job but you are making a difference. Cathleen Director customer service PetsWarehouse |

Hi Cathleen- I live in Freeport,NY(a few towns away from you) and am trying to place a very, very sweet stray but all our shelters are full- even bide-a-wee where I volunteer can't take her and won't even put her on a waiting list.I just had her spayed. Do you have any ideas ? I am hoping I will have better luck in the fall or early winter but I hate to leave her outside that long. Janie |

Take a picture of her and we will post it in the store with a description of her plight and her sweet personality etc. We have done this with others and it has helped to get them a home. Call me at the store I will be happy to discuss it with you. Cathleen Director customer service PetsWarehouse |

Cathleen, I called the store many times but you were never there at those times. I took some pictures of the sweet stray but haven't had them developed yet- I don't think they are very good anyway. She doesn't look very adoptable at the moment because she has a flea bite allergy - she's mostly white so she looks like she has the measles even though I put Advantage on her a few weeks ago. When she is looking better I will try you again at the store. Janie |
